The Ludwig Foundation has invited Melike Kara for a site specific installation that will be on display at Haus Ludwig from June 29 to October 29, 2024.
In her latest work, Kara interweaves tradition and future, exploring the interplay of materiality, transformation, and cultural complexities.
The installation addresses the interplay of interior and exterior, painting and ornamentation, visible versus invisible. It also explores the interaction between tradition and contemporary, a dynamic that plays a significant role in the daily work of the Peter and Irene Ludwig Foundation.
